Tsarskoe Selo participated in the First Conference of Museum Workers of Russia and Uzbekistan which was held in the city of Tashkent as part of celebrations marking the Russian-Uzbek Diplomatic Relations 30th Anniversary.

The Conference discussed innovative methods of museum collection preservation, collaborations and joint research projects, modern technologies in exhibition projects, and development of museums as creative spaces.

Ms Olga Filimonova, Tsarskoe Selo head of international development and museum projects, spoke of new technologies used in the museum's large-scale projects, such as the annual Associations Art & Fashion Show in the Catherine Park and the recent WWI Stories on Film at the Martial Chamber.

Supported by the countries' government cultural bodies, the Second Conference is scheduled for 2023 in the city of Tula.
