Tsarskoe Selo is launching The Amber Room's Secrets, a guided promenade tour of the Catherine Palace which our visitors can book if they wish to experience a special historical atmosphere of the eighteenth-century palace rooms after museum hours.

Guided through the empty palace, our visitors will learn some little-known facts about the former imperial residence and its crowned owners, as well as some mysteries of encrypted symbols on the decorated walls.

The flute—the favourite musical instrument of Frederick William I of Prussia, whose Amber Cabinet was the predecessor of the Amber Room—will accompany our visitors along the way.
